Ticking fabric is characterised by a dense white/cream cotton base cloth.   Printed with regular, fine stripes flanked either side by an even finer broken or twill stripe. Spaced 1.5cm apart running down the length of the fabric.   

It is a very classic French look, popular and timeless.

This is a light to medium weight fabric, best used for blinds, curtains, cushions, lampshades and classic French matresses!
